DAY 1: ARRIVE ENTEBBE 

Arrive Entebbe, transfer to your hotel, and spend the rest of the day exploring the Botanical Gardens, the Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary, or take a sunset boat cruise on Lake Victoria. Overnight: Karibu Guesthouse (or similar) Entebbe 

 

DAY 2: KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK 

After a leisurely breakfast, your driver will collect you for your scenic 5-hour drive from Entebbe to Kibale Forest National Park. In the afternoon, discover the flora and fauna endemic to this part of the world on a nature walk. Overnight: Isunga Lodge (or similar)  Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner 

 

DAY 3: CHIMPANZEE SAFARI (PERMITS INCLUDED) 

In the morning, take a Chimpanzee safari to get up-close and personal with Uganda’s magnificent primates. If you are lucky, you may also spot Red Colobus Monkeys, Blue Monkeys, Olive Baboons and Bush Babies. Later, visit the Crater Lakes before driving to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Overnight: Marafiki Safari Lodge (or similar)  Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner 

 

DAY 4: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK 

Wake up early today to enjoy a sunrise game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you could spot Uganda’s apes, leopards, and tree-climbing lions, along with a vibrant display of bird life. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel with its vast populations of buffalo and elephants. Overnight: Marafiki Safari Lodge (or similar)  Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner 

 

DAY 5: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK – LAKE MUTANDA 

After breakfast today, you will drive approximately 4-hours to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, before continuing to your lodge on the banks of Lake Mutanda. The afternoon is yours to do as you wish. You could indulge in the many activities available at your lodge, or simply spend the day relaxing and admiring the views from the terrace. Overnight: Chameleon Hill Lodge (or similar)  Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner 

 

DAY 6: GORILLA TREKKING TOUR (PERMITS INCLUDED) 

Today is the day you have been waiting for! After an early wake-up call, you will set off on your Full Day Gorilla Trekking Tour in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where you will track the world’s last remaining Mountain Gorillas on a trip of a lifetime. Once you locate the gorillas, you will have approximately 1-hour with them before making your way back to Lake Mutanda for a final evening in the Pearl of Africa. Overnight: Chameleon Hill Lodge (or similar)  Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner 

 

DAY 7: KIGALI - DEPATURE 

After breakfast, take a scenic drive across the border to Rwanda, and the vibrant city of Kigali. You will take a city tour, visiting the Genocide Memorial, before transferring the airport for your return flight home.
