Detailed Itinerary

 

Day 1: Cape Town

Upon arrival in Cape Town International Airport, please proceed to the arrivals hall where your driver will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel on the Atlantic Seaboard. The rest of the day is yours to explore the beautiful city. We recommend the ‘Hop On Hop Off’ Sightseeing Bus, which offers 2 routes around the city, stopping at major highlights such as Camps Bay, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Constantia Wineries, and the Table Mountain Cable Car.

Day 2: Cape Town

Today, you have a free day in Cape Town to prepare for your Two Oceans Adventure.  With the Atlantic Ocean just moments from your hotel, you can run along the beautiful coastal pathways, before visiting Cape Town’s popular sights such Robben Island. Alternatively, you could book a full day shark cage diving excursion, or a full day trip to Walker Bay for Fat Biking in the sand dunes.

Day 3: Cape Town

Today, you are invited to join the Good Friday International Friendship Run. A special treat for international entrants, this 5km run/walk through Cape Town will show you some of the city’s most famous landmarks including the Mouille Point Lighthouse and the Cape Town Stadium. It also provides the perfect opportunity to meet up with other runners from across the world and get into the marathon spirit. *Friends and family can take part for a nominal fee. After the friendship run, you will head to the Two Oceans registration in Cape Town where you will collect your race number, t-shirt and RaceTec chip.

Day 4: Cape Town – Two Oceans Marathon

Today is the day you have been waiting for, and after a very early breakfast, your driver will be waiting to transfer you to the Two Oceans Marathon start line for your 06:00 departure. Once you have completed this amazing marathon, your driver will return you back to your hotel for an evening of celebrations!

Day 5: Cape Town

To make the most out of your stay in Cape Town, today you will have the option to take a Full Day Tour in the Cape Winelands (fully escorted with wine tasting included), or take a Full Day Excursion to the Cape of Good Hope (fully escorted with guide). You will return to your hotel at around 6pm for an evening at leisure.

Day 6: Cape Town

Today is your last full day in the Mother City, so why not head to the V&A Waterfront for a spot of shopping before heading to Camps Bay for ‘Sundowners’ overlooking one of the most beautiful beaches in Southern Africa.

Day 7: Departure

At the agreed time, your driver will collect you and transfer you to Cape Town Airport for your return flight home.
