Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Windhoek
Upon arrival at Windhoek Airport, please clear immigration, collect your luggage, and proceed to the arrivals hall where you will be met by one of our representatives, who will assist with the collection of your vehicle and provide a complete travel portfolio for your road tripping adventure. You will then self-drive to your hotel in the city for overnight.

Overnight: Windhoek
Day 2: Windhoek – Kalahari
Driving Distance / Time: (280km/174 miles approx. 4 hours)
After breakfast today, you will hit the open road and travel into the largest sand mass on earth, the Kalahari Desert, for a two-night stay. This afternoon you can enjoy a nature drive through this magical desert.

Day 3: Kalahari
After breakfast today, the day is yours to do as you please. We recommend taking a walk through the desert with the legendary Bushmen.

Day 4: Kalahari - Sossusvlei
Driving Distance / Time: (320km / 192 miles approx. 4.5 hours)
Today you will head off into the endless plains and striking mountain ranges of the Namib Desert, the oldest desert on earth. Your lodge is situated very close to two of Namibia’s most celebrated attractions, Sossusvlei and Sesriem Canyon, so you will have plenty to keep you occupied over the next two days.

Day 5: Sossusvlei
With another full day in Sossusvlei, we recommend you head to the National Park to climb ‘Big Daddy’ – the largest sand dune in the region, before taking some magnificent photos at Dead Vlei.

Day 6: Sossusvlei - Swakopmund
Driving Distance / Time: (370km / 222 miles approx. 4 hours)
After breakfast today, you will move on to your next destination, travelling through the Namib Naukluft Park to Swakopmund. Here you will find a whole itinerary of exciting excursions and activities to choose from such as scenic flight and dolphin cruises.

Day 7: Swakopmund
After breakfast today, why not head over to Walvis Bay for a boat trip and lunch. There is some stunning birdlife / sea life in the region, and the photo opportunities are endless.

Day 8: Swakopmund – Etosha National Park
Driving Distance / Time: (500km / 300 miles approx. 6 hours)
Today you will set off towards the world famous Etosha National Park for a two-night stay. Early mornings and late afternoons are the best times to go game viewing in Etosha, so get your cameras ready for some serious wildlife encounters.

Day 9: Etosha National Park
After breakfast overlooking the national park, you get to choose from a wellness treatment in the hotel, or a game drive in a private wildlife reserve.
