Detailed Itinerary

 

Day 1: Cape Town - Stellenbosch

Upon arrival in Cape Town, please clear immigration, collect to your luggage, and proceed to the arrivals hall where you will follow the signs for Car Rental. After collecting your vehicle, you will drive to your hotel in Stellenbosch for an evening at leisure.

Overnight: Stellenbosch

 

Day 2: Stellenbosch

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before heading off into the Winelands with your Vine Hopper Pass!  Take the Northern Route or the Southern Route, both of which stop at six different wineries, and hop-on and hop-off the old-fashioned tram as much as you like! Wine -tasting and lunch to own account.

Overnight: Stellenbosch

 

Day 3: Stellenbosch

With another full day in Stellenbosch, we recommend you head to J.C. Le Roux for their iconic Cap Classique Tasting paired with either olives or nougat, before heading to Clos Malverne for their spectacular Wine Pairing Lunch. End your day at the Zanzibar Gin Lounge at Asara. All locations are within a short distance from your hotel and easily accessible by local taxi.

Overnight: Stellenbosch

 

Day 4: Stellenbosch – Wellington

After breakfast, you will continue your South Africa Wine Tour to Wellington in the Western Cape Winelands, your base for the next two nights. Once you have checked in to your hotel, we recommend enjoying the pool and spa area with a glass of South African wine (or two!).

Pre-Dinner Drinks will be served, before you enjoy a delicious 3-course table d’hôte dinner.

Day 5: Wellington  

After breakfast today, you will be collected from the hotel before heading off into the Wellington Winelands for a day of Wine & Cheese tastings. Visiting various vineyards in the area, you will choose where you would like to have lunch (to own account), before continuing on your wine tasting tour.

You will return to the hotel in time to freshen up before pre-dinner drinks and another fantastic 3-course table d’hôte dinner.

Day 6: Wellington - Paarl

Today you will continue your connoisseur adventure to your next destination - Paarl. A scenic drive with plenty of wineries to view along the way, we recommend you stop off for lunch before heading to your beautiful hotel for an afternoon of relaxation. Watch the sun go down with your favourite aperitif, before enjoying a delicious 3-course dinner.

Overnight: Paarl

Day 7: Paarl

After a delicious breakfast overlooking the beautifully manicured gardens, your driver will collect you and you will head off on another full-day Wine Tasting adventure in the Western Cape Winelands. Stopping at four wineries along the way, you will have the opportunity to try a variety of different wines, take a cellar tour, and enjoy a traditional South African lunch (to own account).

You will return to your hotel in time for ‘Sundowners’ and dinner.

Day 8: Paarl – Cape Town

Enjoy your final breakfast in the Winelands of the Western Cape before heading to cosmopolitan hub of Cape Town for the next 2 nights.

The afternoon is yours to enjoy! We recommend heading to Camps Bay for ‘Sundowners’ and dinner

Day 9: Cape Town

With a full day to explore South Africa’s Mother City, we recommend you take the Hop On Hop Off City Bus, take a boat trip to Robben Islands, or visit the world-famous Table Mountain, before heading to the V&A Waterfront for some last-minute shopping and dinner.

Overnight: Cape Town

Day 10: Departure

After breakfast and checkout formalities, you will have a few hours at leisure before driving back to the airport and dropping off your car. ***End of Services***
