Tailored to suit your exact requirements, you can enjoy one or two days Gorilla Tracking on our short Rwanda itinerary, before heading back to Kigali along a panoramic route and taking a Kigali City Tour.

 

Detailed Itinerary

 

Day 1: Kigali

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, please proceed to the arrivals hall where your driver will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel in the city, and give you a briefing for the following day. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Overnight: Urban Boutique Hotel Kigali (or similar)

 

Day 2: Kigali City Tour – Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast today, you will take a city tour of Kigali visiting the Genocide Memorial and several other places of interest before making your way to Volcanoes National Park.

After checking into your hotel, you will have a few hours at your leisure before enjoying dinner.

Overnight: Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge (or similar)

Meals Included: Breakfast and Dinner

 

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Volcanoes National Park

At the scheduled time, your guide will collect you and transfer you to the park entrance.

After signing in and completing the necessary paperwork, you will begin your Gorilla Tracking experience.  Once you have located the Gorillas (which can take anywhere from an hour to 8 hours), you will have one hour with these magnificent giants, before returning to your hotel in time for dinner. 

Overnight: Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge (or similar)

Meals Included: Breakfast and Dinner

 

Day 4: Optional Gorilla Trekking – Panoramic Route Back to Kigali

After breakfast, you will begin your second day Gorilla Tracking (if pre-booked) before heading straight back to Kigali for overnight.  If you decide not to take the optional 2nd day tracking tour, your will proceed back to Kigali along a panoramic route, arriving early afternoon.

Meals Included: Breakfast

 

Day 5: Departure

After breakfast today, you will have a few hours at leisure to shop for those last minute souvenirs in Kigali, before your guide transfers you to the airport for your onward flight.
